This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an App Developer – Wellness MVP in United States. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a mobile-first wellness application designed to guide users through a structured self-improvement journey. The app emphasizes simplicity, privacy, and user engagement, integrating features such as daily logs, private journals, screen-length insight cards, and a universal grounding button for quick mindfulness exercises. You will collaborate closely with the project lead to transform design prototypes into a functional, user-friendly MVP while incorporating privacy-respecting features and light community interactions. This is a short-term, high-impact project with potential follow-up opportunities, allowing creative input, problem-solving, and direct contribution to the initial product launch. Ideal candidates are junior developers who are enthusiastic about wellness technology and eager to bring an innovative app to life. Accountabilities: • Develop a mobile-first wellness MVP that aligns with provided design prototypes and functional specifications. • Implement core features, including daily logs, private journals, insight cards, grounding tools, and community interactions. • Ensure privacy features are fully implemented, including supporter view with read-only access. • Integrate explainable trigger banners and interactive elements for user engagement. • Collaborate remotely with the project lead, providing regular updates and incorporating feedback promptly. • Deliver a polished, functional MVP by the target delivery date (31 November 2025). • Beginner to junior-level experience in mobile app development. • Proficiency in app development frameworks and languages (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin). • Ability to implement interactive UI elements, handle local storage, and integrate APIs. • Understanding of privacy-focused design and secure data handling practices. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision and adhering to project timelines. • Enthusiasm for wellness and human-centered digital experiences. • Opportunity to contribute to a meaningful wellness-focused project. • Flexible, fully remote work arrangement. • Direct collaboration with project stakeholders and potential for future paid work. • Small project scope allows for creative freedom and hands-on experience. • Competitive short-term project budget ($250 – $750 USD).
