This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer II in the United States. As a Software Engineer II, you will play a key role in advancing data management, analytics, and process improvement initiatives for complex organizational operations. You will leverage technical expertise in business intelligence and data visualization to enhance reporting systems, develop dashboards, and streamline data flows. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will translate business requirements into actionable insights and implement best practices in predictive analytics and AI-enhanced reporting. You will also mentor peers and contribute to optimizing workflows, ensuring high-quality documentation and adherence to organizational standards. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment, making a direct difference in operational efficiency and decision-making. Accountabilities Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives, including data management, dashboard development, and data transformation. Develop, update, and maintain data dashboards, data dictionaries, and documentation to improve workflows and reporting accuracy. Conduct requirements workshops with stakeholders to identify analytic needs, integration challenges, and solution pathways. Apply best practices in data modeling, predictive analytics, and AI-driven reporting aligned with project objectives. Ensure quality and compliance of technical documentation, including user guides and operating procedures. Visualize and integrate data from multiple sources to respond to live data requests and business needs. U.S. Citizenship required. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; eligibility to obtain/maintain Public Trust/NACI clearance. Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or process improvement, including dashboard/report development and data transformation using PowerBI. Experience building both persistent and ad hoc data visualizations. Strong skills in data aggregation, integration, and visualization. Familiarity with Agile software delivery methodologies. Desired: Knowledge of USACE data/reporting systems (RPM, QFIT, RW, MSC, DashPrint) and understanding of USACE mission workflows. Competitive salary range: $150,000–$170,000 USD.
