This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AI/ML Engineer in the United States. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will drive the development of intelligent, real-time solutions for healthcare applications on Android-based IoT devices. This role combines advanced machine learning, computer vision, and embedded systems expertise to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant AI models that enhance patient care. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize model performance, integrate AI into clinical workflows, and innovate at the intersection of technology and healthcare. The position offers a fully remote work environment, providing the flexibility to contribute to cutting-edge projects while collaborating with a talented, mission-driven team. Your work will directly impact the development of AI systems that improve healthcare outcomes. Accountabilities: Develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models, focusing on computer vision and predictive analytics. Optimize AI/ML model performance on embedded systems and Android-based IoT devices. Integrate AI models into production workflows, collaborating with engineering, data science, compliance, and product teams. Implement explainable and interpretable AI methodologies to meet regulatory standards (HIPAA, SOC 2). Continuously evaluate new AI/ML technologies to enhance product innovation and performance. Document technical designs, model metrics, and decisions to meet compliance and audit requirements. Participate in knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous learning within the technical team. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. Experience with computer vision techniques and frameworks (e.g., YOLO, OpenCV). Familiarity with deploying ML models on edge devices or embedded hardware, particularly Android-based platforms. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and application lifecycle management tools. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., GCP), CI/CD workflows (GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes), and data optimization techniques (MongoDB, BigQuery) is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Competitive salary range: $77,200 – $160,800, plus bonus eligibility.
