We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to lead and shape the development of scalable AI and machine learning solutions. This role involves designing and implementing AI/ML architectures, guiding engineering teams, and collaborating with data scientists to transform business needs into production-ready models. The position requires strategic oversight of AI platforms, optimization of ML processes, and engagement with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with organizational goals. Accountabilities Lead AI/ML platform strategy and advanced analytics initiatives, including Generative AI. Drive architectural alignment and adoption across business and technical teams. Provide thought leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams. Develop architecture standards, best practices, and guidelines informed by industry trends. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build production-ready ML models and pipelines. Optimize AI/ML workflows, including monitoring model performance in production. Facilitate communication with non-technical stakeholders to define effective solutions. Support product and technology selection aligned with architecture standards. Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degrees preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 7+ years, or Ph.D. with 2+ years. Hands-on experience building and deploying ML solutions using Python and various algorithms. Expertise in AI/ML cognitive services, model productionization, and CI/CD automation. Strong understanding of ML techniques including feature analysis, algorithm selection, and hyperparameter tuning. Experience engaging with senior executives and providing technical recommendations. Familiarity with architecture practices across business, application, data, security, infrastructure, and governance. Knowledge of NLP/NLG, AI conversational agents, and Generative AI platforms. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Databricks, and CloudDBs. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, with experience mentoring teams. Preferred certifications or specializations in AI/ML, LLMs, and cloud technologies. Competitive salary range: $111,300 – $222,700, depending on location. Remote work flexibility.
