As an AI Applications & Software Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team focused on building intelligent, AI-driven applications that solve complex business challenges. You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and other advanced AI/ML technologies. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on technical leadership, allowing you to shape AI innovation, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise, influence technology roadmaps, and foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation in AI/ML applications. Accountabilities · Lead software engineering teams to develop AI-enabled applications using LLMs and other ML models. · Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI solutions that address high-impact challenges. · Oversee the full software lifecycle, including architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. · Champion responsible AI practices, ensuring model explainability, ethical considerations, and compliance standards. · Partner with data science and MLOps teams to operationalize models into scalable, maintainable systems. · Drive technology roadmap planning and prioritize AI initiatives aligned with business strategy. · Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the team. · Coach, develop, and retain top talent, fostering engagement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. · 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong foundation in AI/ML technologies. · 3+ years of experience managing teams in a software development environment. · Proven experience deploying LLMs in production environments (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Mistral, Gemini, LLaMA). · Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks, generative AI patterns, and MLOps principles. · Experience with cloud-based AI platforms such as Vertex AI, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, or Snowflake Cortex. · Strong software architecture and agile development expertise. · Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex AI concepts to business leaders. · Preferred: Experience integrating AI into enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM), familiarity with reinforcement learning, autonomous agents, vector search, fine-tuning, or inference optimization.
