This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AI Agent Software Engineer in the United States. This role is ideal for a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for artificial intelligence and autonomous systems. You will design, build, and deploy AI agents capable of performing sophisticated security tasks, automating workflows, and evolving through machine learning. The position combines technical depth, creativity, and operational impact, allowing you to work on cutting-edge AI technologies while collaborating closely with security researchers, data scientists, and engineering teams. Accountabilities: · Design and develop autonomous AI agents that can perform reconnaissance, vulnerability identification, and advanced security tasks. · Build scalable services capable of operating 24/7 across thousands of targets, transforming manual workflows into intelligent automation pipelines. · Integrate AI agents with cloud platforms and enterprise-grade infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance at scale. · Experiment with novel AI/ML approaches, prototype advanced techniques, and implement feedback loops for continuous improvement. · Collaborate closely with penetration testers, AI specialists, and security researchers to refine agent strategies and solve technical challenges. · Implement safety, ethical, and compliance measures for responsible AI deployment. · 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong record of shipping production systems. · Hands-on expertise with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs and autonomous agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, or similar). · Advanced programming skills in Python and Golang; experience with APIs, database design, and modern frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript preferred). · Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. · Strong problem-solving skills, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to iterate rapidly in a dynamic environment. · Security experience is a plus, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or ethical hacking. · Bonus experience with multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, RAG pipelines, vector databases, or AI safety/alignment practices. · Portfolio of relevant projects or open-source contributions demonstrating creativity and technical excellence. · Competitive salary with performance-based incentives. · Generous time off, company-wide holidays, and paid parental leave. · Health insurance options, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. · Retirement plan with 401(k) matching. · Flexible remote work support and home office allowances. · Training and professional development budget to support skill growth. · Inclusive, collaborative, and innovation-focused team culture.
