Full Description

An admin clerk for an auto parts company handles administrative task and inventory support, including managing inventory records, processing orders, and assisting customer with inquiries and returns. Key duties involve answering phones, handling correspondence, maintaining records, and processing invoices and other financial documents. Administrative duties: • Communication: Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and manage correspondence. • Record-keeping: Compile, maintain, and update company records, including inventory and transaction logs. • Filing: Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail, and handle outgoing mail. • Scheduling: Set up appointments and manage schedules for staff or clients. • General office support: Operate office equipment, order and manage office supplies, and perform data entry. Parts and inventory support: • Inventory management: Track inventory levels, receive new stock, and ensure parts are properly stored and accounted for. • Order processing: Process customer orders, including creating invoices and handling billing and crediting. • Returns and warranties: Handle warranty claims, process part returns, and manage related paperwork. • Customer service: Greet customers and vendors, answer their questions, and resolve complaints.
