As a Virtual Legal Assistant, you’ll be the backbone of a busy legal team, handling client communication, managing schedules, and preparing essential documents. Your attention to detail and proactive mindset will help attorneys stay focused on what matters most: advocating for their clients. Monthly Compensation: 1150 USD - 1220 USD Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •Calendar management including appointments, meetings, court dates, and deadlines •Inbox and email management: sorting, prioritizing, and responding to messages •Data entry and system updates in Lawmatics and Clio •Organizing and maintaining digital case files and legal documents •Monitoring deadlines and assisting with compliance tracking •Managing client intake and setting up new case files •Communicating with clients via phone, email, and live chat •Sending appointment reminders and follow-ups •Drafting non-substantive legal documents using templates •Proofreading and editing for clarity and accuracy •Preparing invoices and billing documents •Tracking expenses and assisting with accounts receivable/payable •Conducting legal research and compiling summaries •Reviewing case files and creating concise case summaries •Organizing materials for hearings, depositions, and trials Key Skills •Strong organizational and time management skills •Excellent written and verbal communication •Proficiency in legal terminology and office procedures •Ability to manage multiple tasks independently •High level of discretion and confidentiality •Detail-oriented and proactive •Reliable and self-motivated •Calm under pressure and solution-focused •Committed to integrity and professionalism •Enjoys supporting others and working collaboratively Requirements •2-3 years of experience in a legal assistant or administrative support role • Familiarity with legal processes and documentation • Comfortable working remotely and independently Software •Lawmatics •Clio Working Schedule: Monday to Friday 10 AM to 7 PM Timezone: EST (US) Work Shift: Languages: English, Spanish We believe that Every Great Person Deserves a Great Job.
