Job Duck is hiring a virtual V105 - Legal Support & Case Management Associate Job Duck is a virtual staffing company that matches candidates to work from home for a single U.S.-based business, in most cases a law firm. Job Description: Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Legal Support & Case Management Associate to support our attorneys in providing exceptional legal service in personal injury, estate planning, and civil litigation. This role is vital to ensuring smooth case management, timely communication, and a positive client experience. Join a firm that values honesty, transparency, and empowering clients. Monthly Compensation: $1,150 to $1,220 USD Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Requesting medical records from hospitals and healthcare providers • Following up to ensure timely delivery and legal compliance • Tracking requests and keeping attorneys or case managers informed • Maintaining detailed logs and internal documentation • Following up on missing or incomplete documentation • Managing and logging invoices into client ledgers • Sending faxes and completing/correcting forms • Managing full case files and supporting deposition scheduling as needed • Providing monthly case updates to clients • Supporting case preparation and assisting with discovery and trial tasks • Drafting, proofreading, and filing legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence • Maintaining digital case files, tracking deadlines, and supporting court filing processes • Coordinating meetings, calendar management, and internal reporting Client Communication: • Answering phone calls and emails with empathy and professionalism • Scheduling consultations and providing case updates promptly • Communicating effectively with Spanish-speaking clients and providers Key Skills: • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Fluent in Spanish with excellent client and provider communication skills • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Proactive and diligent with follow-up and information gathering • Reliable in managing files and case documentation • Willing to grow into drafting responsibilities • Clear phone presence with strong follow-through Requirements: • At least 1 year of proven experience supporting legal, healthcare, or case intake roles • Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) • Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks with precision • Own PC or laptop, reliable internet, and a quiet remote workspace • Attention to detail and accuracy, especially with sensitive data • Excellent communication skills and a professional, empathetic approach • Ability to anticipate case manager needs and manage multiple priorities Software: • CRM: FileVine • VOIP: Avaya/RingCentral • Internal Communication: Teams • Email: Outlook • Calendar: Outlook • Other: Zoom, Hona, Adobe Location & Timezone: • EST – US Working Hours • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday Work Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM [EST][EDT] (United States of America) Languages: English, Spanish We believe that Every Great Person Deserves a Great Job.
