Job Duck is hiring a virtual V104 - Criminal Law & Client Support Associate Job Duck is a virtual staffing company that matches candidates to work from home for a single U.S.-based business, in most cases a law firm. Job Description: Summary: We are seeking a warm, empathetic, and detail-oriented Criminal Law & Client Support Associate to be the first point of contact for prospective clients facing criminal charges. This role is vital in creating a welcoming experience and ensuring accurate intake processes that reflect the firm’s dedication to client-centered service. Join a team committed to protecting clients' rights and freedoms. Support a collaborative environment that emphasizes responsiveness, advocacy, and integrity, helping clients through some of their most challenging moments. Monthly Compensation $1,015 to $1,100 USD → Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • A mix of reception and intake: answer and transfer calls, qualify leads, and transfer them to attorneys or sales • Provide translation services for non-English speaking clients or family members as needed • Reach out to family members and gather case-related information • Manage discovery downloads and organize case files efficiently • Answer incoming calls, emails, and website inquiries promptly and professionally • Provide clear, compassionate guidance to prospective clients about next steps • Schedule consultations and confirm appointments with attorneys • Conduct initial client screenings to gather case details accurately • Enter client information into the firm’s case management system with high precision • Prepare intake summaries for attorneys’ review → Administrative Support • Maintain organized digital records and ensure confidentiality standards are followed • Assist with document uploads, e-signatures, and follow-up communications • Coordinate with attorneys and staff to facilitate smooth onboarding processes → Client Experience • Deliver a positive, reassuring first impression for individuals facing criminal charges • Uphold the firm’s core values of integrity, responsiveness, and discretion → Key Skills: • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to handle sensitive topics with empathy • Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in high-pressure situations • Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting tools • Legal Awareness: Basic understanding of criminal law terminology and procedures is a plus • Client Service: Dedicated to providing a professional, empathetic, and client-focused experience → Requirements • High school diploma required; associate’s degree or paralegal certification preferred • 1–2 years supporting legal, customer service, or administrative roles • Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred for client and family communication → Software • CRM: MyCase • VOIP: DialPad • Other: Google Drive, Law Paid → Location & Timezone • CST – Arkansas Work Shift: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM [CST][CDT] (United States of America) Languages: English, Spanish We believe that Every Great Person Deserves a Great Job.
