In this role, your aim is to ensure employees are compensated accurately and promptly. Your responsibilities will include processing timesheets, updating records, overseeing payroll payments, and answering payroll-related questions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and familiar with payroll processes and related legislation. Responsibilities • Process payroll-related documents • Process certified payroll • Review payroll information for accuracy and completeness • Communicate with the human resources team regarding any changes or updates in employee information • Monitor the electronic payment system and paycheck distribution • Maintain up-to-date salary information • Process annual bonuses, severance pay, and other compensations or deductions Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field • Previous experience as a Payroll Coordinator is preferred • Understanding of the payroll process and related legislation and regulations • Proficient in Excel and accounting software • Highly organized with an eye for detail Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour JLM is a DBE-accredited agency specializing in finding world-class talent and managing infrastructure project staffing needs.
