About the Role Join a leading industrial facility solutions provider specializing in the installation, service, and maintenance of mission-critical commercial access equipment. We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Business Development Manager (RBDM) to drive new client acquisition and strategic growth across the Detroit area. This role requires an experienced hunter and relationship builder ready to own the entire sales cycle for key facility services. What You’ll Do • Prospecting & Revenue Growth: Actively identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities to build a consistent sales pipeline for commercial facility services, including overhead doors, loading dock equipment, and industrial closures. • Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers (Facility Managers, GCs, Property Owners) to secure long-term service contracts and major projects. • Strategic Sales Cycle: Own the entire sales process, from initial contact and needs assessment to proposal development, contract negotiation, and closure. • Collaboration & Strategy: Coordinate closely with internal estimating, service, and operations teams to develop technically sound proposals and winning sales strategies. • Reporting: Maintain rigorous client interaction logs, sales activities, and pipeline health using the company's CRM system. What You Bring • Experience (Required): Proven background in B2B sales, business development, or account management, with a preference for industrial, construction, or facility services. • Product Knowledge (Must Have): Familiarity with overhead doors, rolling doors, loading dock equipment (levelers, restraints), or related commercial access systems is highly advantageous. • Skills: Exceptional ability to build rapport, present solutions to executive-level clients, and manage a multi-state territory autonomously. • Systems: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics) for pipeline management and reporting.
