Job Title: Assembler Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Location: Chicago, IL 60654 Pay: $17.25 - $18.31 per hour (based on experience) Requirements: Resume, interview, pre-employment physical, drug test, backgroudn check, authorization to work in the U.S. Job Description: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling a variety of products using manual and automatic tools while ensuring quality and accuracy. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to maintaining production efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Assemble related products according to work orders. • Identify and gather the necessary components required for each assembly. • Retrieve components from the production area as needed. • Notify the supervisor of any part shortages to avoid delays. • Visually inspect component parts for defects before and during assembly. • Follow written and verbal work instructions to assemble a limited variety of products. • Use basic manual assembly techniques to complete the assembly process. • Operate manual tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers) and automatic hand tools (e.g., air screwdrivers, impact wrenches) as required. • Check the alignment and fit of component parts to ensure proper function. • Make necessary adjustments to meet quality and operational standards. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety guidelines. Requirements: • Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred. • Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions. • Proficiency in using both manual and automatic hand tools. • Strong attention to detail and quality control. • Ability to lift and handle materials as needed. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
