Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing/Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for assisting in marketing activities related to social media, website, email and print as well as coordinating services for new and current clients contacting JFS. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community by helping those in need find appropriate services, educating new clients unfamiliar with JFS services and attracting new supporters to help JFS achieve fundraising goals and further JFS' vision and mission. The ideal candidate will be energetic, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities • Respond to and record all requests for service; provide information and support and refer clients to JFS departments and/or outside agencies as needed. Send follow-up information to clients when appropriate. • Coordinate ongoing marketing activities, including biweekly eblast, mailing lists, social media, and website. • Assist in the development of marketing materials and support leadership with projects as needed. • Prepare monthly reports with all information required by funders. • Research, collect, organize and update community resource information used to assist clients. • Assist with completion of client applications for public benefits. • Monitor food pantry stock for inventory; distribute orders to clients. • Perform all other functions necessary to fulfill the purpose of the position. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree preferred; bilingual a plus. • Two years social service or customer service experience; two years marketing experience. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Comfortable with computer databases and programs. • Ability to manage multiple tasks. • Comfortable working on a team or independently.
