Full Description

Build the execution backbone behind one of the most widely adopted open-source AI platforms in production today. This role sits at the center of a fast-scaling AI developer platform with 20k+ GitHub stars, tens of thousands of weekly installs, millions of copilot interactions, and consistent double-digit month-over-month growth. The product is already monetizing at the enterprise level and is used by startups and Fortune 100 companies alike. Backed by $6.5M in funding (led by SignalFire), the team is small, senior, and fast-moving, focused on building the infrastructure that brings AI agents out of demos and into real user workflows. They are hiring a Senior Program Manager to drive execution across the Core Platform and Protocols team. The Role You will work directly with founding engineers to bring structure, clarity, and execution discipline to the most technical surface of the company. This includes the core framework, open interaction protocols, integrations with major LLM providers and agent frameworks, and emerging generative UI standards. This is not a maintenance PM role. You will design and scale the operating system behind a high-performance engineering team. What You’ll Do - Own roadmap planning and prioritization for the Core Platform and protocol layer - Translate product direction into executable engineering programs - Improve sprint planning, estimation accuracy, and delivery predictability - Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and leadership - Ensure strong release readiness and quality guardrails - Build lightweight processes that scale without slowing the team down - Create visibility and accountability across initiatives What They’re Looking For - 5+ years of experience in program, product, or technical project management - Experience operating in high-growth or early-stage startup environments - Strong command of agile planning and delivery frameworks - Comfort working in AI-native workflows and using AI tools daily - Technical background or deep experience partnering closely with engineering teams - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience with tools such as Linear, Jira, Shortcut, or Asana Nice to have: - Experience defining QA and testing standards - Familiarity with SLAs and structured software delivery workflows - Experience coaching teams on process maturity Why This Role Stands Out - You will operate at the protocol layer of the AI stack, not just feature delivery - The platform already has real traction and enterprise adoption - You will work directly with founding engineers in a highly technical environment - The company is early enough for meaningful ownership but late enough for real momentum - Your work will directly influence how AI-powered applications are built and shipped at scale - You will design the execution systems that allow a fast-moving team to grow without losing speed \n \n
