Position: Project Manager, Korean and Japanese Translation Available: Immediately Full-Time Position Starting Salary: $42K - $52K/yr Description: JET Patent and IP Translations is a niche-based language service provider for technical, legal, and intellectual property translation primarily from Japanese into English. Due to growth initiatives we are looking for a responsible and dedicated bilingual individual to manage our Korean translation projects during US work hours within our virtual in-house team of 20 translators. With no central location, all employees work virtually from their homes using on-line management and communication tools. Duties: Provide excellent customer service in fulfillment of client translation projects using our internal translation team. Ensure on-time delivery every time. Manage client communications to foster reliability and maintain supply of steady translation work as a trusted vendor. Perform final translation quality check of translations. Coordinate availability and collaboration of internal translation team in project fulfillment. Oversee all aspects of client satisfaction and project fulfillment. Reports directly to the president and oversees management of current client accounts and all outbound new client acquisition and marketing activities. Requirements: - Professional level fluency in Korean and English, and preferably Japanese as well - Degree in a STEM field preferred - 1+ years of experience in translation project management -2+ years of experience in translation - Excellent people and project management skills - Ability to work to frequent deadlines - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Experience with Phrase or other CAT tools - Highly detailed oriented with excellent organization skills - Excellent remote communication management skills - Self-motivated, performance driven, and goal oriented - Experience with law firms or patents is a plus Remote position: Priority given to applicants in Idaho and Utah. Candidates may be considered outside of Idaho and Utah pending employee status availability in his or her resident state.
