Job Summary The Catering Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of catering operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in sales and business development. The Catering Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating events, and driving revenue growth through effective marketing strategies and account management. Responsibilities • Be Jersey Mikes Community Ambassador by marketing our locations with local businesses, governments and all community organizations • Develop and implement catering sales strategies to achieve business objectives. • Manage client accounts, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction. • Conduct outside sales activities to generate new business opportunities and leads. • Oversee the planning and execution of catering events, ensuring all details are managed efficiently. • Collaborate with the team to create promotional materials and campaigns that drive catering sales. • Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data. • Conduct sampling strategies for potential clients to showcase catering offerings. • Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties. • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth. Skills • Strong background in outside sales, particularly in B2B environments. • Proven management experience with the ability to lead teams effectively. • Excellent business development skills with a focus on account management. • Proficient in technology sales and CRM software. • Strong negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach to service. • Ability to perform lead generation through various channels including cold calling and direct sales efforts. • Experience in territory management, ensuring effective coverage of assigned areas. • Solid analytical skills to assess market trends and make data-driven decisions. • Proficient in upselling techniques to maximize revenue from existing clients. • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
