Responsibilities: • Based off seasonal direction, put together a package of print and pattern ideas to be reviewed. • Execute patterns and print decided on by design team. • Work with necessary contractors in the development of print or pattern media on fabric. • Work on revisions based on submits from design team after proto’s. • Seasonally research and present ideas to the design team as they pertain to graphic design, pattern and print, layout and photography. • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. • Establish, build and maintain professional relationships and demeanor at all times with internal and external business associates. • Treat coworkers and members of management with courtesy and respect at all times. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Three to five years’ experience and Associates degree from college or university. Candidate must have experience with Mac OSX, MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite 2 or higher and strong skills in Photoshop and Illustrator. Hand illustration techniques and power point experience a plus. Articulate verbal and written communication skills in English is required. Other Requirements/Skills: Strong communication skills, timely follow through of key initiatives, time management, project management, and fiscal responsibility. Will be required to demonstrate the ability to be responsibly flexible and adapt to change, have leadership characteristics, understand the ability to earn a profit and contribute ideas that are innovative. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; is regularly required to talk or hear; and occasionally walk, stand or otherwise move self in a reasonable way position to perform the essential duty. The employee must occasionally be able to safely and independently lift, carry or otherwise move or position up to 25 pounds. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee comes in contact on occasion with a sharp object. The employee is required to have the ability to identify and distinguish colors and have depth perception. The in-office working hours are between 8:30 am to 5:30pm and overtime may be required from time to time as pre-approved by supervisor.
