Our Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) focuses on cutting-edge construction projects, including Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center, and Semiconductor projects. Role Overview: In your role as a Project Manager, you will oversee project direction, manage operations, and build lasting relationships with clients and subcontractors. Your travel will take you to assigned project sites, contributing to our Self Perform work while ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency are prioritized throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and uphold a strong safety culture on-site, guiding and mentoring team members to ensure an injury-free workplace. • Manage the preconstruction process by supporting quantity takeoffs, trade coordination, and the development of project scopes and schedules. • Oversee the scheduling and buyout process, ensuring accurate pricing and scope management while issuing subcontracts. • Coordinate submittals, shop drawings, and samples, ensuring timely submissions to architects and engineers. • Work closely with logistics for material and equipment pricing, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met. • Engage with various project stakeholders, including subcontractors, owners, and design teams, facilitating effective communication. • Prepare and submit change requests while evaluating subcontractor pricing for accuracy. • Conduct regular project meetings and prepare monthly subcontractor and owner pay applications. • Create and maintain an updated project schedule, utilizing Lean principles to optimize project delivery. • Monitor potential schedule impacts and devise mitigation strategies. • Document key decisions affecting budget, schedule, and safety, providing comprehensive reporting to the project team. • Lead the project closeout process, ensuring all final documents and deliverables are completed successfully. Your Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in construction management. • Strong communication and presentation skills, proficient in MS Office and project management software. • Ability to manage budgets effectively while fostering relationships internally and externally. • A valid and unrestricted driver's license and the ability to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed. Location: This position requires travel to various project sites, including but not limited to the following locations: Kansas City, MO; Tempe, AZ; Nashville, TN; Jacksonville, FL; and more.
