Job Title Warehouse Operations Intern (Team Lead Track) Location Middlesex,, NJ Pay $20–$22/hour Schedule Full-time or Part-time (Flexible based on school schedule) Job Summary The Warehouse Operations Intern supports daily warehouse operations and works closely with Team Leaders and Operations Managers to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and service level goals are met. This role is designed for interns who want hands-on leadership exposure in a fast-paced 3PL warehouse environment. This is a developmental role that prepares interns for future positions such as Team Leader, Supervisor, or Operations Analyst. Key Responsibilities Operations Support • Assist with daily inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and shipping operations • Monitor workflow and help balance labor across work areas • Track productivity, accuracy, and SLA performance • Escalate operational issues (labor gaps, system issues, delays) to Team Leaders or Managers Team Leadership (Intern Level) • Support Team Leaders in coaching associates on standard work and safety practices • Help communicate daily goals, priorities, and process changes to associates • Assist with onboarding and training of new warehouse associates • Act as a point of contact for associates when Team Leaders are unavailable Process & Continuous Improvement • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements • Assist with basic data tracking (volume, productivity, error rates) • Participate in process improvement projects and pilot initiatives Safety & Compliance • Promote a safe work environment and ensure SOPs are followed • Report safety concerns, near misses, and incidents promptly • Support warehouse audits and compliance checks Qualifications Required • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (standing, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs) • Strong communication skills and willingness to lead by example • Basic computer skills (Excel, Google Sheets, or similar) 【About JD.com】 JD.com (NASDAQ: JD and HKEX: 9618), also known as JINGDONG, is a leading supply chain-based technology and service provider.
