Full Description

Our company is currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team! We are a local, family-owned full service CPA firm located in Lexington, SC. Our services include corporate tax, individual tax, bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, assurance, and consulting services. Our main focus is working with small businesses by helping them with the financial stresses that come with owning their own business. We pride ourselves on communication with our clients and being responsive in a timely manner while also being personable, professional, and courteous. You will be responsible for clerical duties including: Answering telephones, scheduling, filing, collections, and client communications. Also, you will be responsible as a support staff for the payroll and accounting department, preparing payroll and reports as well as light bookkeeping for clients. You will also help the tax department with receiving information from clients during tax season. We are a small company looking for a support staff to help us grow. We are looking for someone that will take pride and responsibility in their work with a positive attitude. Experience with Quickbooks is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities: • Client Communications • Accounts Receivables • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records/tax returns • Compute and record numerical data • Check the accuracy of business transactions • Perform data entry and administrative duties • Assemble tax returns • Verification of information from clients Qualifications: • Proficient in Microsoft 365 • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Strong organizational skills • Deadline and detail-oriented • Great communication skills in person, via email, and over the phone Raises and compensation adjustments are given based upon performance. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $12.00 per hour Work Location: In person
