The nonprofit’s mission is to create pathways to employment, training, and long-term economic mobility for veterans, underserved populations, and individuals seeking careers in facilities services, technical services, and professional program support roles. Position Summary The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic execution, operational management, and financial sustainability of Jay Cee Solutions Inc. The Executive Director ensures the organization fulfills its charitable mission while maintaining full regulatory compliance, financial transparency, and operational effectiveness. The Executive Director serves as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors, community partners, grant organizations, and program stakeholders, and is responsible for translating mission objectives into measurable community outcomes. This role requires a leader capable of building scalable programs while maintaining strict separation from affiliated for-profit entities to ensure compliance with IRS and SBA requirements. Primary Responsibilities 1. Strategic Leadership & Mission Execution • Execute the strategic vision established by the Board of Directors. • Develop and implement workforce development, education, and community support programs. • Establish measurable program goals, performance metrics, and impact reporting. • Ensure alignment between mission objectives and program delivery. 2. Organizational Management • Oversee day-to-day nonprofit operations. • Develop internal policies, procedures, and operational frameworks. • Manage staff, volunteers, and program coordinators. • Establish scalable administrative systems appropriate for nonprofit growth. 3. Financial Management & Compliance • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and fiscal stewardship. • Ensure proper use of charitable funds in accordance with IRS regulations. • Coordinate annual filings, audits, and financial reporting. • Maintain separation between nonprofit and for-profit financial activities. • Ensure no private inurement or improper benefit to affiliated entities. 4. Fundraising & Resource Development • Develop and execute fundraising strategies including: • Grants • Corporate sponsorships • Individual donations • Foundation partnerships • Build long-term funding relationships. • Support grant writing and reporting requirements. 5. Community & Partnership Development • Serve as the public representative of the organization. • Build partnerships with: • Veteran organizations • Workforce agencies • Educational institutions • Government and community stakeholders • Expand community reach and program accessibility. 6. Board Relations & Governance • Report regularly to the Board of Directors. • Provide operational and financial updates. • Assist with board development and governance implementation. • Support strategic planning initiatives. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, public administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum 5 years leadership experience in nonprofit, workforce development, or program management roles. • Experience managing budgets and grant-funded programs. • Strong understanding of nonprofit governance and compliance requirements. • Demonstrated leadership and organizational management experience. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with veteran-focused or workforce development programs. • Experience with federal or state grant administration. • Background in community program development or education initiatives. • Familiarity with nonprofit financial reporting and audit preparation. Governance & Compliance Statement Jay Cee Solutions Inc. operates independently from affiliated for-profit entities. The Executive Director shall ensure: • No commingling of funds or resources. • No preferential contracting or steering of opportunities. • All partnerships with affiliated entities occur at arm’s length and are fully documented. • Compliance with IRS nonprofit standards and applicable federal regulations at all times.
