James Bates Brannan Groover LLP, a leading law firm with offices in Atlanta, Macon, and Athens, Georgia, seeks a motivated individual to join the team as an Administration Support Specialist in our Athens office. As the Administration Support Specialist, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative support tasks, including serving as the backup for the reception desk and a variety of tasks that focus on creating an efficient and constantly client focused office. To succeed in this role, you must be dependable, proactive, detail-oriented, organized, and possess exceptional client service skills. This position is a great opportunity for recent graduates taking a gap year and others who are interested in attending law school or would otherwise like to gain hands-on experience in a law firm. Qualifications • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds • Professional demeanor • Outstanding organizational skills • Excellent communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work well with others • Must be self-motivated • Positive attitude • Client service oriented • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Key Responsibilities • Serve as the primary backup to the receptionist • Conference Room Liaison • Manage inventory and stocking of office supplies • Retrieve, sort, and distribute office mail • Break Room/Kitchen Liaison • Provide backup administrative support to legal staff and attorneys as needed, including drafting basic correspondence, filing and scanning documents
