We’re seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to oversee complex projects for both federal and private clients. You’ll apply your technical experience in soil and groundwater remediation to develop strategies and work plans while championing safety, quality and the well-being of your team. Based in the Midwest (Kansas City, MO, Saint Louis, MO, Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, or Cincinnati, OH) you’ll have the opportunity to work on remediation projects across the (country). By driving consistency and innovation across site characterization and remediation projects, you’ll help your team achieve the clients’ goals. Here's What You'll Do • Lead and Manage Projects Plan, staff, schedule, and budget projects while ensuring quality, consistency, and safety. • Collaborate and Coordinate Work with subcontractors, internal support staff, and subject matter experts. • Technical Excellence Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and design and implement pilot studies and remedial systems. • Client Interaction Engage with clients and regulators, present information, and facilitate discussions on site management strategies. • Mentorship and Growth Provide motivation and direction to project teams, and benefit from mentorship opportunities to • help you grow your career at Jacobs. Here's what you'll need • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, geology or other closely related technical degree • At least 10 years of environmental characterization/remediation project experience, including environmental sampling and subcontractor oversight • Experience conducting site investigations/characterizations, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, remedial designs/actions, and installing and optimizing remediation systems • Experience as a Project Manager on environmental remediation projects, including project financials, staffing, and meeting client deliverables • HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain and maintain Ideally, You’ll Also Have • Professional Engineer, Geologist or Project Management Professional (P.E., P.G, or PMP) or ability to obtain and maintain • Familiarity of United State Environmental Protection Agency regulations including CERCLA and RCRA • Strong writing, interpersonal, and client relations skills • Experience with the environmental consulting industry Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
