We’re seeking a Water Treatment/Pumping Project Manager to join our mid-Atlantic and East Central region. Someone who can use their vast experience in the water industry and apply it to today’s challenges. As a valued Jacobs employee, you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful design of water treatment and pumping facilities as well as help lead clients to the correct treatment approach by utilizing modeling tools, bench scale analysis, pilot plant design and operation, and full-scale design, construction and commissioning of water treatment plants and pump stations. You’ll have the opportunity to work with conventional and advanced treatment processes, including coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, granular media filtration, biological filtration, membrane filtration, disinfection (ozone, UV, chlorine), adsorption technologies, and other treatment processes. We’ll rely on you to support business development efforts and help in the pursuit of new projects, as well as work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships. Here's what you'll need • The ideal candidate will sit near one of our major offices within the East Central or Mid-Atlantic region. • Bachelor’s Degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering • Need to demonstrate the skill set of being able to successfully manage muti-disciplined teams for large projects (i.e. design fees greater than $4M) • Extensive years of experience in relevant water treatment and process engineering, including water, wastewater, and reuse systems • Planning and design experience in water distribution system, including pipelines, pumps stations and storage tanks • Planning and design experience in wastewater systems, including pipelines, pump station, and treatment plants and knowledgeable about water systems • Demonstrated understanding of drinking water supply, master planning, and treatment processes and technologies • Strong communication skills, both written and oral • Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities • Minimum of 15 years experience in the consulting engineering industry • Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure is required. • Relocation assistance will be considered but not guaranteed. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
