Your impact We’re seeking Project Managers with a background in environmental site characterization and remediation projects to oversee the delivery of challenging projects for federal and global private sector clients. Based in the United States, you'll have the opportunity to advance your career by engaging with key client representatives to expand our business. You'll work alongside recognized technical experts, developing and implementing comprehensive site strategies, and delivering innovative solutions for some of the most challenging sites across the region and nationwide. You will collaboratively manage project teams that include both field and office-based staff, senior technical consultants, and technical subject matter experts, with support from Jacobs' internal management. Your focus will be on delivering environmental projects with a strong emphasis on environmental remediation. Your tasks will primarily involve proposal and cost estimate preparation, subcontractor procurement, financial management including client invoicing, schedule management, staff mentorship and leadership, client relationship building, regulatory agency correspondence, data interpretation, and report development. Projects will require thoughtful strategy development, leveraging technical expertise, and collaboration with clients and stakeholders. All projects must be delivered with the high safety, compliance, and quality standards expected by both Jacobs and our clients. This is a Hybrid position where you’ll be afforded the flexibility to work from both the office as well as from home to meet project delivery goals while maintaining balance. Here's what you'll need • Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental studies, or other closely related field. • Experience as a project manager at environmental remediation sites involving contaminated media including soil, sediments, or groundwater. • Experience conducting site investigations/characterizations, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, engineering evaluations, and remedial designs/actions. • Experience identifying and resolving key issues impacting remedy implementation (technical, regulatory, risk, stakeholder, land use, etc.) and emerging issues. • Experience with leading a team in implementing site closure strategy and effectively managing change over time. • Experience as a liaison or point of contact communicating effectivity between contractors, team members, regulatory agencies, property owners, other consultants, and clients. • Related professional certification (or the ability to obtain and maintain), including but not limited to, Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, Professional Geologist (PG) license, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Ideally, You’ll Also Have • Master’s degree in engineering, geology, environmental studies, or other closely related field. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
