Your impact We’re looking for a skilled Project Engineer to manage and supervise subcontracted scope and material resources as required for a $200million dollar design build project in Cincinnati, Ohio. You’ll be supporting the upgrades to the existing Little Miami plant providing biosolids treatment for the Cincinnati metropolitan area. You’ll work full time onsite with the Jacobs design-build team, vendors and subcontractors to schedule and coordinate work between trades while ensuring technical documentation (submittals, RFIs, design changes, and record documents) is up to date. We’re looking for natural self-starters with the ability to identify issues and collaborate as necessary toward resolution. Working on a design build team provides you with the unique opportunity to work directly and cohesively with both the design team and construction team making issue resolution as efficient as possible. With a national presence in Design-Build construction, Jacobs will provide additional opportunities on projects in Ohio, the Midwest, and throughout the country at project completion. Here’s What You Will Be Doing • Work with vendors, subcontractors and Engineering to achieve timely submittal approval • Coordinate RFIs to resolution with the assistance of the Engineering team • Expedite equipment to ensure on time delivery • Coordinate and maintain the schedule associated with responsible scope • Manage and maintain as-built drawings and documentation • Assist with monthly cost projections for subcontractors and vendors • Support project plan implementation for quality, change management, and safety • Create and distribute meeting agendas, attend meetings, take notes and publish notes and action item lists Here's what you'll need • Bachelor's or Master’s program in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or closely related field. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Ideally, you’ll also have • Previous construction project internships/experience • Working knowledge of construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
