As Director Construction – (Data Centers), you’ll join our collaborative team delivering award-winning engineering, construction management, and design-build solutions for hyperscale and enterprise data center clients. We’re seeking a passionate leader based in Indianapolis or remote who thrives on collaboration, exceeds expectations, and challenges the status quo. In this role, you’ll be accountable for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data center construction projects across the Midwest. You’ll engage directly with clients, construction teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure technical excellence, schedule adherence, and budget performance. Your ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, navigate challenges, and drive innovation will be key to your success in this fast-paced, high-impact environment. Here's what you'll need • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience • Minimum 15 years of experience in heavy construction, with at least 5 years focused on data center or mission-critical facilities • Proven leadership in managing large-scale, fast-track construction projects • Strong working knowledge of MEP systems, commissioning, design-build delivery, and technology infrastructure • Experience building and leading high-performing teams • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships Ideally, you’ll also have • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Experience with hyperscale clients, enterprise data centers, or colocation facilities • Familiarity with Uptime Institute standards, Tier certifications, and energy-efficient design • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices • Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and remote environments Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $146,700.00 to $201,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
