Lead sales pipeline development and full sales cycle management in aerospace and defense accounts, collaborating cross-functionally and mentoring sales managers.
10+ years aerospace/defense sales experience, bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), strong negotiation and communication skills, U.S. citizenship, and preferably active security clearance.
Description: • Lead opportunity creation and early pipeline development across targeted defense and aerospace accounts. • Expand organic growth within existing JDAS customers by identifying new program opportunities and increasing wallet share. • Develop and present compelling value propositions to stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives. • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and cross-functional teams to define and execute strategic sales plans. • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure, ensuring alignment with JDAS growth objectives. • Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and track performance metrics. • Mentor and support other sales managers within the business unit, fostering a high-performance sales culture. • Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of sector-wide growth strategies. • Represent Jabil at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to build brand awareness and strengthen relationships. • Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or account management within the aerospace and defense industry. • Demonstrated success in identifying, pursuing, and closing complex, high-value deals. • Deep understanding of the defense and aerospace market landscape, including OEMs, primes, and government agencies. • Strong commercial acumen, including experience with pricing models, margin analysis, and contract structures. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Experience with consultative or solution-based selling methodologies. • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and executive leadership. • Active security clearance is highly desirable. • Military service is valued; veterans are encouraged to apply. • U.S. Citizenship required.
