What's Awesome About Our Client? • Fast-growing wellness company with trusted brands and innovative products • 6-7 month contract • Ambitious, PE-backed company with a pipeline of transformative projects Why this job – CONTRACT SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: This is a unique chance to step into a critical role on a contract basis and support a dynamic accounting team during a key period. You'll play a hands-on role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational excellence while gaining broad exposure across the business. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership of complex tasks, and is eager to contribute immediately. What You'll Actually Do: • Prepare monthly close activities for multiple entities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis • Analyze trial balances, investigate irregularities, and report on variances • Assist in month-end and year-end consolidations, including intercompany transactions • Manage bank reconciliations and support accurate day-to-day accounting operations • Partner with auditors to ensure a smooth and timely year-end audit • Assist in developing and implementing new accounting policies and procedures • Manage and analyze fixed asset transactions, along with accruals, prepaids, and revenue recognition, to deliver insights to management To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience • Cash/Cash flow accounting experience is needed • Experience with intercompany transactions and audit experience needed • SAP or larger ERP or Flocast experience • Advanced Excel • Strong communication and ability to work independently • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Where and How Much: • Target Compensation $50-$55/hour • Remote - Denver-Boulder based for occasional onsite trainings and meetings • 6-7 month contract / 40 hours a week
