Operate and maintain filling and packaging machines ensuring quality output and safety compliance.
High school diploma or GED with basic mechanical skills and at least one year manufacturing experience preferred.
Job Description: Essential Duties: Operate high speed filling and packaging machines in a safe and productive manner. Maintain inventory of components, including following Kan Ban procedures. Maintain quality output. Responsible for checking quality of production throughout run. Responsible for checking conformity with production order. Setup, change over and cleanup filling and packaging machines each day. Maintain mobile equipment certification and properly use equipment. Follow all safety and good manufacturing practices and procedures. Follow all quality, housekeeping and inventory requirements. Follow work rules, procedures and policies. Responsible for workspace and safe operation of any assigned equipment, materials, items, tools. Professionally represent the company. Perform all other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. One year related manufacturing experience a plus. Able to make basic math computations to perform role. Possess basic mechanical aptitude to trouble shoot machines and perform minor repairs when needed. Ability to make mechanical adjustments to machines using basic hand tools.
