Review, organize, draft, and submit grant proposals to support organizational programs.
Volunteer role requiring skills in grant management, proposal writing, and organizational alignment, with no specific experience or certification requirements.
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. We're seeking a skilled volunteer to help us champion grants that have been added to our workplan pipeline. Specific tasks include reviewing grant opportunities, organizing requirements, drafting and editing grant submissions, aligning proposals with our organizational goals, and ensuring that all documents are prepared for timely submission. This work will help ensure that each grant moves through our internal pipeline efficiently and increases our likelihood of successful funding. Securing grant funding is critical to expanding our reach and delivering programs like the Fatherhood Research Center and the MetaDad Virtual Mentorship Program. This project directly supports our ability to continue offering mentorship, research, training, and advocacy initiatives for fathers and families. By helping prepare these grants for submission, volunteers will be helping us build stronger communities, strengthen family structures, and promote positive father engagement nationwide. Their work will have a ripple effect on every life we touch. My team and I have prepared for this project by compiling a list of targeted grants, outlining preliminary project narratives, gathering organizational documents (e.g., 501(c)(3) letters, budgets, mission statements), and building a grant calendar within our workplan tool. We are ready to onboard a volunteer with clear expectations, grant templates, and a point of contact for questions. We will provide weekly check-ins and feedback to keep the process streamlined and collaborative. Innovative Technology Strategies Mission: Mission Statement: Innovative Technology Strategies is dedicated to revolutionizing the paradigm of fatherhood by leveraging technology and becoming a leading research center. Our mission is to equip fathers with the necessary resources, knowledge, and support to challenge conventional norms and become engaged, confident, and nurturing parents in the digital era.
