Purpose: The Network Operations Analyst I is an entry-level position within Tilson’s Network Operations Center (NOC). This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about information technology and eager to develop expertise in data networking and systems engineering. The Analyst supports Tilson’s network infrastructure by monitoring network health, responding to incidents, and assisting with troubleshooting activities. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a customer-focused mindset, as it involves regular interaction with customers, field technicians, and internal technical teams. 2 OPEN POSITIONS AVAILABLE!!! Responsibilities • Monitor and manage customer networks using network and element management systems. • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and device issues; escalate as needed by established service level agreements (SLAs). • Document, track, and close incidents using internal trouble ticketing systems. • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures. • Support and direct field system installations while enforcing network and security standards. • Participate in remote meetings and provide status updates to clients and internal teams. • Assist in developing and maintaining customer documentation and operational runbooks. • Work rotational shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to network events as needed. • Support continuous improvement efforts within the NOC through documentation, process refinement, and collaboration. Requirements Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred Experience: • 0–3 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC), help desk, or IT support environment. • Familiarity with network monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and change management processes. • Experience with RF/wireless technologies and IP-based systems preferred. Key Measures / Key Performance Indicators: • Timeliness and accuracy of network issue identification and resolution. • Adherence to service level agreements and escalation procedures. • Quality and completeness of documentation and ticketing. • Customer satisfaction and communication effectiveness. • Compliance with NOC operational standards and best practices. Exposure • May require on-call availability during assigned rotation periods. • Exposure to a fast-paced, high-volume support environment. • Must maintain reliable internet connectivity and home office setup suitable for remote network monitoring.
