In-Market Release Technical Program Manager (TPM) itD is seeking an In-Market Release Technical Program Manager (TPM) to manage and execute end-to-end software releases for in-market wearable consumer electronics. This role is critical to ensuring high-quality, compliant, and on-time software delivery across multiple platforms and global regions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical program management experience, deep familiarity with release management practices, and a proven ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional efforts in fast-paced environments. Location: Remote (US-based) or onsite as required by the team and project needs. This role supports work based out of Redmond, WA. Contract Duration: Temporary role, LOA backfill through June (with start date ASAP) Responsibilities Own the end-to-end software release lifecycle for in-market wearable products, including planning, execution, validation, and post-release monitoring. Coordinate release schedules, milestones, and deliverables across engineering, quality assurance, product, operations, and support teams. Drive release readiness reviews to ensure all technical, quality, and operational criteria are met prior to launch. Serve as the primary point of contact for release status, risks, issues, and dependencies, providing clear and timely communication to stakeholders. Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues related to software releases, escalating critical blockers and driving resolution. Partner with QA and compliance teams to ensure releases meet regulatory, security, and quality standards across supported markets. Continuously improve release processes, documentation, and workflows to increase efficiency, reliability, and release quality. Internal Responsibilities Attend regular internal practice community meetings. Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership. Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material). Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice. Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual). Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities. Required Qualifications and Skills 3+ years of experience in technical program management, release management, or software project management. Proven experience managing software releases for consumer electronics or wearable products. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across cross-functional and global teams. Hands-on experience with release management tools and methodologies (e.g., issue tracking systems, documentation platforms, CI/CD workflows). Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Experience supporting in-market software releases across multiple regions (e.g., North America, EMEA, APAC). Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for consumer electronics. Technical background in software development or quality assurance for embedded systems or mobile platforms. Prior experience working closely with operations, support, and post-launch monitoring teams. Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
