Technical Program Manager itD is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the definition, planning, and delivery of complex, cross-functional technology programs that drive business outcomes at scale. This role is critical to ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while effectively managing risk, stakeholder expectations, and execution across multiple interconnected projects. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in program and project management within large organizations and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level technology and business application solutions. Responsibilities Lead the successful delivery of complex technical programs within defined scope, quality, time, and budget constraints while managing moderate-probability, moderate-impact risks. Drive program-level strategic planning and partner with executive-level stakeholders to resolve complex issues and align delivery with business objectives. Manage and coordinate internal exempt employees, matrixed teams, and contractors to deliver systems and system enhancements that meet defined requirements. Oversee end-to-end program execution including scope definition, requirements gathering and documentation, estimation, scheduling, budget management, and status reporting. Track and maintain progress across multiple projects, ensuring consistent reporting, timely follow-ups, and accountability across stakeholders. Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and blockers to maintain program momentum. Develop and manage detailed launch plans, track bugs and feedback, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive items through to closure. Internal Responsibilities Attend regular internal practice community meetings. Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership. Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material). Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice. Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual). Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities. Required Qualifications and Skills Proven experience in project estimating, scheduling, tracking, and implementation planning within large organizations. Strong customer interaction and stakeholder management experience across multiple organizational levels. Demonstrated people management and team-building skills, including managing matrixed teams and contractors. Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt judgment in fast-changing environments. Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform environments. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. PMP or PMI certification. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology products and business functions. Experience working within highly complex, enterprise technology ecosystems. Master’s degree (MBA or related advanced degree). Education Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field required. Master’s degree preferred.
