As an Inside Federal Account Manager at iT1, you will be tasked with developing quotes for customers, sourcing, deal registration, shipment tracking, CLIN updates, accounts receivable assistance, and monthly reporting requirements. Additionally, your scope of responsibilities will include building relationships with existing customers, securing incremental revenue, developing net-new business, and helping to ensure success for clients and iT1. Triage RFIs/RFQs/RFPs from an assigned federal contract vehicle Build accurate, compliant quotes (hardware, software, cloud, services) with correct SKUs, CLINs, and T&Cs. Source pricing and availability through OEMs and distribution Register deals, secure special pricing, and align lead times with period-of-performance and FOB/INCOTERMS requirements. Contract & Vehicle Support: Support orders under vehicles such as CIO-CS, ITES-4H, etc. Confirm contract pricing, DoDIN APL compliance, TAA/BAA applicability, Section 889 representations, OEM letters of supply, and flow-down clauses. Prepare documentation as needed for: BOMs, SOWs, delivery schedules. Build relationships with clients, partners, and teammates Assist with developing net new business through relationship building with current customers, email campaigns, and GTM strategies. Provide overall excellent customer service to help complete any customer requests and resolve potential issues Providing shipment tracking information to customers, as needed Work with the Accounting department in supporting accounts receivable processes Work with customers and manufacturers to facilitate return requests Produce and distribute internal and external reports as needed Reach out to existing customers to promote interest in iT1 solutions and services Perform other duties as needed Helping to ensure overall success for clients and iT1 Compliance & Risk: Work within FAR/DFARS frameworks Support PIEE/WAWF receiving/invoicing workflows, DPAS ratings when present, and government acceptance terms. Maintain records for audits; ensure use of current UEI (SAM), CAGE, NAICS alignment, and manufacturer authorization. Qualifications: 2-5+ years Inside Sales Support role federal government business, preferably GWACs Previous business development experience with federal agencies Hands-on experience with Federal procurement processes and portals. Ability to quote multi-line IT solutions (networking, security, servers/storage, desktop/laptops, video equipment). Working knowledge of pricing math (margin/markup), terms & conditions Detail-orientation, deadline discipline, and strong written communication with federal stakeholders and partners. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Demonstrated consistency in values, principles and work ethic Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and coordinate workloads amongst team members Nice to Have: Previous work on GWAC’s (government-wide acquisition contracts) namely CIO-CS, ITES-2H/3H, SEWP Familiarity with CUI, FCI, supply-chain security. Awareness of NIST 800-171/CMMC basics and common federal cybersecurity clauses. OEM ecosystem experience (Cisco, HPE, HP Inc., Dell, Microsoft, etc.) Eligibility for Public Trust or experience supporting cleared accounts (clearance not required).
