Position Details Name of Employer Isuzu North America Corporation Position Title Manager, IT Infrastructure Location 46401 Commerce Center Drive, Plymouth, MI 48170 Salary $193,149 per year Hours Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Position Overview Isuzu North America Corporation (INAC) seeks a Manager, IT Infrastructure (Individual Contributor) to plan and coordinate enterprise management personnel and oversee all other Management Information Systems (MIS) Infrastructure related activities in support of Isuzu’s business. Develop strong working relationship with all Isuzu companies, understanding their function, business, environments, and needs. Monitor and audit Isuzu’s expenses and budgets. Work closely with MIS executives on strategic planning activities for future Isuzu business. Core Responsibilities • Responsible for the design, implementation, and operations of enterprise core system platforms hosting applications in both on-premises facilities and on-cloud infrastructure. • Review external vendors to ensure standards, processes, and procedures are executed to deliver systems to specifications. • Work alongside architects, information security, and operational teams to deliver infrastructure services to the organization. • Responsible for the development and fulfillment of strategic direction to modernize the IT infrastructure. • Support IT management in the development and fulfillment of an engineering strategy, based on the current and future overall strategic and business objectives of the organization. Evaluate the existing configuration of hardware, systems and technologies, in the context of business operations to identify any gaps in capacity or capabilities. • Evaluate new technologies with a view to their integration into the organization. • Share knowledge and expertise with other functional areas of the IT organization and with the client community in an advisory capacity. • Lead IT projects and programs that are high impact/high value to the organization. • Act as a communication channel for ongoing program management status and issues and setting business expectations. • Interact at high levels with clients and decision-makers both internally and externally. • Work with Plan, Build and Production teams to ensure successful project delivery. • Improve productivity and quality within project lifecycle and project governance. • Focus on planning and execution of large-scale projects and programs. Server and Network Management • Ensure effectiveness, availability, and security of enterprise servers, including hardware, virtualization, operating systems, software, and backups. • Provision and administer server environments using best practices for enterprise customers across multiple on-premises and on-cloud offerings. • Conduct research and remain current with the latest server and system technologies and solutions. • Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure regarding server systems. • Develop solutions by understanding and studying systems flows, data usage, and work processes. • Ensure effectiveness, availability, and security of enterprise network, including hardware, Firewalls, circuits, LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN. • Provision and administer network solutions and configurations using best practices for enterprise customers across multiple on premises and on-cloud sites. • Conduct research and remain current with the latest network and system technologies and solutions. • Benchmark, analyze, reports on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure regarding network systems. • Develop solutions by understanding and studying systems flows, data usage, and work processes. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery • Review the development, implementation, and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans. • Serve as subject matter expert for disaster recovery and business continuity strategy and planning. • Develop and review disaster recovery, crisis management, or business continuity plans. • Develop recovery plans for physical locations with critical assets, such as data centers. • Coordinate continuity efforts after a disruption event. • Develop emergency management plans for recovery decision making, communications, and the continuity of critical departmental processes to deal with organizational emergencies. Procurement and Stakeholder Engagement • Assist in the development of RFP’s, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports and other documentation for infrastructure projects and associated efforts. • Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services. • Work with stakeholders and business process areas to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations. • Design and implement work plans to make certain server and network capacity meets existing and future requirements. • Perform cost benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions. Organizational Relationships Reports to: Director, IT Operations & Infrastructure Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • Ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or ten (10) years of experience as a Network Lead, Network Consultant, Network Analyst, Technical Analyst, Network Engineer, or a related occupation. • Requires experience in Infrastructure Technology solutions, DevOps, or cloud technologies. • Requires experience working in managed services, outsourcing, or consulting roles as a customer or provider. • Requires experience overseeing resources, projects, and budgets. • Requires experience leading and supporting hybrid cloud server and network environments. • Requires experience architecting and managing enterprise servers in a hybrid cloud model. • Requires experience architecting and managing enterprise networks in a hybrid cloud model. • Requires experience managing cloud infrastructures running SAP and other enterprise applications. • Requires experience designing, implementing, and operating highly scalable and reliable platform solutions in a hybrid cloud model. • Requires excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux server management in physical and virtualized environments. • Requires advanced understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, ADFS, Group Policies, DHCP, Radius, and certificate management. • Requires excellent knowledge of Cisco network solutions, including and specific to ASA, SD-WAN, Meraki, AnyConnect, Umbrella, and Duo. • Requires experience with technical deep dives into code, networking, systems, and storage with experienced engineers. • Requires hands-on experience managing AWS architectures and solutions, including EC2, VPC, NLB, ALB, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, AWS Backup, and EDR. • Requires hands-on experience managing Firewall devices and policies, including and specific to Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, and NSX. • Requires hands-on experience with on-premises Data Center hardware, including racks, server and network equipment, cabling, and UPS. • Requires excellent understanding of backup, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions, including and specific to Veeam, Zerto, AWS Backup, and AWS DRS. • Requires working knowledge of business administration, business processes, capacity planning, regulatory compliance requirements, and contract management. • Requires advanced understanding of cybersecurity solutions, including and specific to Zero Trust, MFA, and EDR. Pay for this position is $193,149. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
