The Affiliate Marketing Lead will own and lead the affiliate marketing strategy, execution, and growth while managing relationships with high-impact affiliate partners. They will also optimize affiliate performance and collaborate with other teams to drive incremental revenue.

Requirements

Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in affiliate marketing, including at least 1 year of managing direct reports. A proven track record in scaling affiliate programs and strong analytical skills are essential.

Full Description

So What's the Job? Own and lead the affiliate marketing strategy, execution, and growth. Deepen and expand existing relationships with large, high-impact affiliate partners. Manage one direct report, with potential to grow the team as the channel scales. Optimize all affiliate performance through the Impact platform—streamlining processes, reporting, and campaign execution. Identify, recruit, and onboard new performance-driven affiliate partners across multiple verticals. Develop and distribute enablement resources—creative assets, product feeds, offers, and educational content. Collaborate closely with the Paid Media Director to ensure affiliate efforts drive incremental revenue and work cohesively within ISSA’s digital ecosystem. Analyze performance data (CPA, CAC, ROI, LTV, AOV) and use insights to improve partner and program effectiveness. Design incentive models, tiered commission structures, and custom campaign terms to attract and retain top affiliates. Partner with Data and Creative teams on landing page testing and CRO initiatives. Ensure brand integrity, compliance, and fraud prevention across all affiliate touchpoints. Forecast and report affiliate revenue growth and partner performance. What is ISSA looking for? 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, including 1+ years managing direct reports and cross-functional initiatives. Proven track record in scaling affiliate programs and driving measurable revenue growth. Hands-on experience with platforms like Impact (or Partnerize, CJ, Rakuten). Deep understanding of tracking, tagging, attribution, and affiliate compliance. Strong grasp of performance metrics, including CAC, CPA, LTV, AOV, and ROAS. Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a strategic mindset. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and partnerships simultaneously. Experience in DTC, edtech, or subscription models is a strong plus. Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Anything else? Absolutely!
