SkillBridge Internship: Human Resource Project Manager – People Excellence Team Location: Remote About the Role Attention all transitioning service members! Are you a master of coordination, a champion of process, and a lover of all things organized? We’re looking for a Project Manager Intern to join our People Excellence Team through the DoD SkillBridge Program. This isn’t your average internship — it’s a chance to roll up your sleeves and jump into real, high-impact work that shapes how we grow, support our clients, and take care of our people. You’ll collaborate with teams across HR, Operations, Client Services, and Technology to bring big ideas to life and help us keep things running like a well-oiled machine. If you’re passionate about project management, operational efficiency, and helping people thrive — this internship was made for you! What You’ll Be Doing Project Management & Execution • Lead or support HR and business projects from kickoff to delivery. • Build timelines, track milestones, and keep everyone aligned (and calm). • Communicate progress like a pro — clear, concise, and always on point. Client Transitions • Help coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities. • Ensure smooth handoffs between internal teams and clients. • Identify and fix pain points in the transition process. Process Improvement • Find better, faster, smarter ways to do things. • Develop SOPs, templates, and best practices that help everyone win. PMO & Reporting Support • Maintain dashboards and reports that tell the story of our progress. • Support governance, compliance, and resource planning. HR Collaboration • Partner with HR on change management and training initiatives. • Align project goals with company culture and compliance standards. What Makes You a Great Fit Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or Project Management (or equivalent). • 3–5 years of project management experience (military or civilian). • Strong communicator, organized multitasker, and all-around team player. • Familiarity with project tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, etc.). Bonus Points For • PMP or CAPM certification. • Experience with client-facing or transition projects. • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement. • Excel or Power BI wizardry.
