Transform messy data into actionable insights through analytics pipelines and dashboards, partnering with stakeholders to define success metrics.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, dashboard creation, and experience translating business questions into data-driven insights.
Data Scientist (Databricks | Power BI | KPI Reporting) Remote | Ongoing This role is for a Data Scientist who enjoys turning messy data into clear, executive-ready insight. You ll be working heavily in Databricks and Power BI, building analytics pipelines and dashboards that leadership actually uses to make decisions not dashboards that just look nice and get ignored. You ll partner closely with business stakeholders to help define what success really means, translate those questions into data, and deliver KPIs that are accurate, trusted, and scalable. Some days that means deep SQL and Python work in Databricks, other days it s refining a Power BI dashboard so the story is obvious at a glance. This isn t a pure research role and it s not heads-down modeling all day either. It s practical, business-focused data science where clarity, reliability, and impact matter just as much as technical skill. You should be very comfortable with • Databricks (building and optimizing analytics solutions) • Advanced SQL and strong Python • Creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards for KPI reporting • Exploratory data analysis, trend analysis, and performance measurement • Translating business questions into actionable insights Nice to have, but not deal breakers • Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake • Predictive modeling or forecasting experience • Exposure to CI/CD concepts for analytics or data workflows If you like working close to the business, enjoy building dashboards that actually get used, and care about data quality as much as speed, this is a solid long-term opportunity.
