Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. We are paying $10 an hour cash daily. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their shopping needs. You will play a key role in driving sales through effective communication, product demonstrations, and upselling techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail sales, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping customers find the right products. Duties • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience. • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions. • Handle cash and manage cash drawers accurately. • Demonstrate product features and benefits to enhance customer understanding. • Upsell products to increase sales and meet store targets. • Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves. • Assist with inventory management, including stocking and restocking products as needed. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom. • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals. Experience • Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in a grocery store environment. • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions. • Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus. • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance customer communication. • Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. • Ability to effectively communicate product knowledge to customers. • Experience with merchandising techniques to create appealing displays.
