Job Title: DR-4781 Business/Finance Analyst Status: Part-time Location: Richardson, TX Division: Programs Position Summary The Business/Financial Analyst will manage and coordinate financial operations for the Disaster Case Management grant. This position is responsible to manage the budget, financial reporting, and payment processing as per the agreement with the grantor. Essential Duties And Responsibilities • Process financial invoices and review supporting documentation to ensure compliance with respective agreement and financial guidelines. • Responsible for preparing and submitting the Monthly and quarterly financial reports along with all required supporting documents and coordinating with the grantor to complete all reporting requirements. • Ensure reports are received by their deadline, perform necessary verifications, flag any issues and work to resolve them promptly. • Other ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Department in relations to the Disaster Case Management Program. • Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications And Competencies • Bachelor’s degree. • 3-5 years’ experience working in disaster management, international development or related discipline. • Experienced in managing diverse teams in the field. • Must possess effective interpersonal and oral communications skills. • Effective written communications skills should include significant exposure to generating reports and narratives. • Must exhibit analytical and strong problem solving skills. • Ability to self-manage multiple priorities. • Proven ability to exhibit cultural competence and sensitivity in working with a wide array of ethnicities, and history of maintaining relationships with these same communities. • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and use of databases. • Ability to travel minimum 30% of the time and be deployed for up to 3 months in the event of a disaster. • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
