Key Responsibilities: • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater, riverine, and floodplain systems • Perform flood risk assessments, drainage studies, and mitigation planning • Design and evaluate stormwater systems, culverts, and detention basins • Lead FEMA (C)LOMR/MT-2 regulatory submissions and documentation • Collaborate across disciplines, with clients and agencies, ensuring regulatory compliance • Support permitting efforts for water resource and floodplain projects • Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and review modeling results Experience/Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related field • MT-2 experience • 5+ years of hydraulic and hydrologic (H&H) engineering experience • Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, Civil 3D, GIS • Experience with FEMA LOMR/MT-2 floodplain mapping and stormwater management design • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively • Project management experience and a desire to mentor junior engineers • PE license preferred
