Hiring on behalf of a client for the Job Title: Recruitment Lead – AI / Digital / Tech Talent Location: Remote Quarterly travel to NYC office required Role Overview We are urgently seeking a dynamic Recruitment Lead with hands-on experience driving medium- to high-volume hiring across AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, Digital, and Technology domains. This is a player-coach role leading a distributed team of recruiters (onshore and offshore) and directly influencing talent strategy, sourcing innovation, and overall delivery excellence. The ideal candidate brings a blend of AI domain understanding, recruiting acumen, and team leadership, with the ability to scale operations, inspire remote teams, and deliver world-class talent experiences. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage a team of ~10 recruiters and recruiting admins (mix of onshore/offshore). • Own full-cycle recruiting delivery across AI, Data, Digital, and Tech verticals. • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for hard-to-find AI & GenAI talent using multiple channels. • Build hiring strategies for new and emerging skill areas (LLMs, GenAI, ML, DataOps, Cloud, Analytics). • Act as a player-coach: mentor, train, and motivate recruiters while directly contributing to strategic searches. • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to forecast needs, define roles, and deliver qualified pipelines. • Drive process improvements, adoption of AI tools in recruiting, and “red-carpet” candidate experience. • Ensure consistent metrics tracking, reporting, and performance management across the team. Required Qualifications • 8+ years of progressive recruiting experience in technology / digital hiring. • 3+ years of specialized recruiting experience in AI, GenAI, or Agentic AI domains. • Proven experience managing medium- to high-volume recruiting operations. • Prior experience leading distributed recruiting teams, including offshore coordination. • Strong understanding of modern recruiting tools (ATS, AI sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.). • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field. • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills. Preferred / “Good to Have” • Prior background as a Tech Project Manager or exposure to AI / Digital project lifecycles. • Experience in scaling recruiting for consulting, digital services, or high-growth tech firms. • HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PHR) or Master’s degree preferred. • This is a remote position.
