Company: Isaacson Foundation, doing business as Empower Ministry Work Location: 1175 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, Tennessee Position: Communications Technology Manager Reports to: Chief Operations Officer Compensation Range: $100,000 - $160,000 Benefits: Paid time off; professional development assistance About Empower Ministry and the Role: The Isaacson Foundation (Empower Ministry) is a faith-based organization dedicated to developing quality people to equip Christian leaders to live out their God-given potential to advance the Kingdom. We are seeking a Communications Technology Manager to lead the development and strategic management of our digital communication platforms This role will shape our digital strategy from the ground up—establishing our initial social media presence, optimizing our website, and building communication systems, such as an intranet, that serve ministry leaders, volunteers, and legacy teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in faith-based or non-profit communications, understand the unique needs of ministry organizations, and be passionate about using technology to advance the Kingdom. All work must align with our mission focus on eternal return on investment (EROI) and our core values. Experience with graphic design, A.I., copywriting, podcasting, multimedia, church administration/operations, and project management is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft applications is expected—including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams. This person is expected to primarily work on-site at the Empower Ministry office with travel approximately once per month. Qualifications: Educational expectations include bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and/or certifications in the following areas: • Digital Strategy/Marketing/Media/Communications • Information Technology • Computer Science • Web Development • Strategic Marketing/Communications • Graphic Design • Social Media Work experience of 5-7 years in the aforementioned areas is preferred. Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Intranet development and management • Identify ideal intranet platform to support organization’s strategic initiatives and platform’s necessary functions • Build and populate intranet platform • Oversee intranet administration • Track, monitor, and maximize intranet traffic based on user needs • Provide technical assistance Social media strategy and management • Develop social media strategy • Establish and oversee social media calendar • Track, monitor, and maximize social channel following • Provide technical assistance Website development and management • Optimize organization’s website • Track, monitor, and maximize website traffic • Integrate technologies in alignment with organization mission • Provide technical assistance Mass email/newsletter communications strategy and support • Identify ideal mechanism for mass email/newsletter communications • Track, monitor, and maximize email/newsletter readership • Provide technical assistance General management • Maintain relationships and collaborate with vendors, partners, stakeholders, board of directors, and ministry leader network • Vet communications technology decisions with industry experts and ministry leaders • Develop and maintain communications technology strategic plan and budget • Manage staff including recruitment, mentorship, skills development, collaboration, and teamwork • Maintain alignment with organization’s brand identity throughout all communications technology Continuing education • Technology-based to keep the organization at the cutting edge • Faith-based to remain grounded in organization’s mission • Management- and skills-based to best serve the team and its mission
