Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Irvine Technology Corporation is seeking a PHP Backend Developer to support their backend and platform initiatives. The role involves hands-on backend engineering, building and maintaining backend services and RESTful APIs, and collaborating with offshore engineering teams. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using PHP (Laravel) • Collaborate with offshore and distributed engineering teams to ensure clear requirements and task execution • Build and support third-party integrations (e.g., Boberdoo, Five9, Zoho, Twilio, and similar platforms) • Review offshore deliverables for quality, completeness, and alignment with standards • Review backend implementations for correctness, performance, scalability, and maintainability Skills • 4–6 years of professional PHP backend development experience • Strong hands-on experience with Laravel or Laravel-based systems • Experience building RESTful APIs and supporting third-party integrations • Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL) • Strong debugging skills and comfort working in production systems • Experience collaborating with offshore or distributed engineering teams Company Overview • Irvine Technology Corporation is a staffing and recruiting company providing IT solutions and staffing services.
