The Opportunity We are seeking a Vice President of Digital Delivery Performance and Innovation focused on driving technology innovation within our Digital Business Unit’s service delivery processes. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing innovation strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction related to the delivery of our digital solutions and services and measure the financial and business impacts these have on our overall success. In addition, this role will work to build out a global AI/ML operations footprint to drive increased delivery automation, improved productivity, and work with our clients to bring continuous innovation through advanced AI/ML solutions. This role will be a right hand and report to the SVP of Software and Solution Delivery to help the overall delivery organization become more effective by running a more predictable, efficient, technology-led organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the end-to-end (E2E) technology-enabled outsourcing services and the ability to drive automation and cost improvements across our operations and improve data insights to inform both Iron Mountain and client decision-making. The capacity to assess performance of the technology at an affordable cost (license, cloud, infrastructure costs) is also key to the role, working closely with the Product team. Role and Key Responsibilities • Innovation Strategy and Planning: Develop and communicate the delivery innovation strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives. • Innovation Execution: Identify new delivery approaches and technologies. Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance delivery capabilities. Define rollout of innovation to maximize client and business impacts • Delivery Process Standardization and Continuous Improvement: Define and Implement future E2E Service Delivery Target operating model including documenting standard technical and operating procedures to enhance efficiency, speed, and quality of delivery in alignment of core business and customer key performance indicators (KPIs). • ML/AI Operations: Develop ML/Gen AI client operations capability to ensure the successful execution of LLM/Gen AI client engagements. Stay current with ML/AI technology advancements and operational best practices. • Client Innovation: Partner with sales, delivery, and customer success functions to develop and engage clients to scope and define new use cases for advanced, differentiated innovation to drive incremental value to our clients. • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of delivery professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., product teams, engineering, sales) to ensure successful delivery innovation. • Performance Measurement: Track and analyze KPIs to track impact of delivery operation and innovation to ensure we continuously make data-driven decisions and deliver our financial commitments. The Ideal Candidate Characteristics & Credentials • 10+ years of experience in developing and implementing delivery transformation programs focused in high-growth technology-enabled managed services and SaaS environments across a global operational footprint. • 10+ years of leading, managing, and scaling high-performing teams including building out KPIs and metrics that demonstrably drive improved experience and financial performance. • Experience in end-to-end technology enabled outsourcing services including scanning operations, IT infrastructure, data entry services, content management, data management, and IDP/AI/ML technology solutions. • Experience in defining core operational standards including methodologies, playbooks, solution blueprints, and best practices to gain business and operational efficiency. • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and ability to implement them effectively. • Experience documenting business processes and applying technology to optimize and automate processes within broader SW solutions and technology-enabled outsourcing contracts and implementations. • Experience in end-to-end lifecycle of LLM data projects from initiation to steady state operations always looking for continuous improvement opportunities. • Proven capability to build, mentor, and lead innovation and operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability. • Experience interacting with client C-suite and operational leaders to identify opportunities to deliver incremental value, insights and operational efficiencies. • Manages hiring against budget, establishes proper onboarding protocols, provides guidance on performance management, maps clear career growth opportunities, and retains top talent. • Communicate effectively with technical, business and C-level stakeholders; able to effectively influence them in an advisory capacity.
