5+ years in B2B competitive intelligence or market research, expertise in CI methodologies, data analytics, project management, and strong communication skills.
Description: • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across business units and functions (Marketing, Sales, Product, Strategy) • Define research objectives and design competitive intelligence programs (win/loss analysis, landscape assessments, product analysis, pricing intelligence, messaging/positioning) • Lead the entire competitive intelligence lifecycle and manage a small team of analysts • Manage research platforms and oversee primary and secondary data collection • Apply advanced analytics to internal and external data to generate insights on market dynamics and competitive behavior • Synthesize findings into compelling, data-driven narratives and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership • Facilitate workshops to translate insights into strategic initiatives and operational improvements • Contribute to product development and go-to-market strategy by informing product roadmaps and GTM plans • Mature CI function operational standards, processes, and enablement of CI platforms across the enterprise Requirements: • BA/BS in business, marketing, market research, economics, statistics, or related fields • 5+ years of progressive experience in a B2B competitive intelligence, market intelligence, strategy, or similar analytical role within a complex enterprise or a leading market research agency • Subject matter expertise in B2B competitive intelligence methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), statistical analysis, and data visualization • Professional market research or competitive intelligence certification (e.g., SCIP) is a plus • Strong understanding of best-practice competitive intelligence techniques and data analytics methods, including use of AI • Superior consulting and advisory skills; ability to think conceptually, handle ambiguity, solve complex business problems, and make thoughtful, data-backed recommendations • Solid project management and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines • Proven ability to manage external vendor partners for on-time, on-budget, on-point execution • Experience with enterprise competitive intelligence platforms (e.g., Contify, Crayon, Klue, Alphasense) • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Google Looker, Tableau) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) • Strong communication and presentation skills to influence mid and senior management Benefits: • Remote work (#LI-remote) • Reasonably expected salary range: $104,800.00 - $139,700.00 • Disability accommodations available (contact accommodationrequest@ironmountain.com)
