The NA Data Center Manager will be a pivotal finance leader responsible for driving best-in-class operating cost efficiency across multiple data center sites. This role oversees the full financial lifecycle, including monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, and detailed analytics of diverse cost and revenue streams. Success in this role requires strong collaboration with Accounting, Operations, and Capital teams, alongside managing power revenue and costs, real estate taxes, commercial leases, and utility billing. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Lead financial reporting and forecasting for operating costs and capital expenditures across ~17 sites, supporting 900 customers and managing ~$580M in revenue with ~$340M EBITDA. Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close activities, including coordinating journal entries, reclasses, and Oracle report generation. Perform system validations, reconciliations, and tie-outs to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of financial reports. Drive operating cost reconciliations, expense phasing, and reforecasting for flash reports and monthly business reviews. Automate and refresh cost KPIs, promoting consistency across regional financial reporting. Power P&L Management Own and lead the ~$140M revenue and ~$135M cost of service (COS) power forecasts, budgeting, and actuals. Partner with Operations on Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) trends, cost drivers, and energy efficiency projects. Manage power billing processes with Accounting, including validation of charges, accruals, and reconciliations. Real Estate & Lease Management Oversee real estate tax tracking and its impact on site-level financials. Support commercial lease renewals, financial modeling, budgeting for lease escalations, and negotiations for new agreements. Cost of Service & Headcount Planning Review and manage monthly overhead cost summaries for staff and security teams. Challenge hiring plans through detailed “To Be Hired” (TBH) reviews to optimize workforce timing and costs. Lead forecasting sessions with Operations to align headcount and site expenses. Aggregate and analyze break/fix expenses to inform capital expenditure planning. Forecasting & Variance Analysis Forecast and analyze variances in cost categories including COS, power, real estate, and leases. Provide actionable insights and narrative commentary on budget-to-actual performance to Finance leadership and Operations partners. Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement Facilitate regular one-on-one meetings with Operations partners, Business Service Centers (BSCs), Capital Finance, and Regional Finance teams to maintain alignment.
