Job Title: HR Policy and Compliance Specialist (EMEA) Reports To: Senior Director, Global Employee Relations, Labor Relations & HR Generalists Employment Type: Full Time Position Overview: This role ensures that the organization remains compliant with external regulations and internal standards, minimizes legal and reputational risks, and fosters a culture of ethical business practices. The Compliance and Policy Specialist acts as both a guardian and an enabler-protecting the organization while supporting its sustainable growth. The HR Compliance and Policy Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining organizational policies while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards. This role supports risk management, promotes a culture of integrity, and ensures that business practices are conducted ethically and in line with organizational objectives. Responsibilities: • Policy Development & Management • Draft, review, and update organizational policies and procedures to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance. • Maintain a central policy framework and ensure regular reviews and updates. • Regulatory Compliance • Monitor and interpret changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards. • Advise leadership and business units on compliance obligations and regulatory requirements. • Compliance Monitoring & Reporting • Conduct compliance assessments, audits, and risk reviews across business areas. • Identify and escalate areas of non-compliance, providing recommendations for remediation. • Prepare reports for leadership and, where necessary, regulators. • Training & Awareness • Develop and deliver compliance training programs and awareness campaigns. • Support employees in understanding and applying policies in day-to-day activities. • Advisory & Collaboration • Act as a subject matter expert on compliance and policy matters. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed compliance requirements into operations. • Liaise with external regulators, auditors, and partners where appropriate. The Ideal Candidate... • Proven experience in compliance, policy management, or regulatory affairs. • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills. • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. • High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail. • English: Full professional proficiency is required. Other languages are an advantage.
